Our contribution to this major port was crucial, involving the Engineering, Procurement & Construction for over 8km-long breakwaters protecting the navigation channel and associated marine facilities.
Al Faw Grand Port is an oil port located in the remarkably narrow and shallow Iraqi maritime frontage on the Persian Gulf and it is one of Iraq's major strategic projects, developed to handle rapidly growing volumes of international trade. The port, being one of the world's largest, has reinforced Iraq's geopolitical position regionally and internationally and has provided an exceptional access to the sea for the country's future development.
