With Renewables, including solar, wind, hydro, biofuels and others, being at the center of the transition to a less carbon-intensive and more sustainable energy system, we prioritize actions to actively contribute to decarbonization and support our clients’ shift to green energy.
The first milestone towards Archirodon’s establishment in the Renewables Market in Greece is the development of a portfolio of solar and wind parks with a total capacity of circa 2.1 GW, which is one of the key corporate strategic goals and at the same time one of the largest ever energy investments in Greece.
The environmental benefit of such a portfolio translates to reducing CO2 emissions, by approx. 320M tons on a yearly basis, fueling the Greek market with energy from renewable sources, while limiting the Country’s energy production deficit and thus, its energy import needs.
Following our expansion to the Renewables market in Greece, consecutive awards and successful execution of projects in the CIS region enhance our experience in the solar sector and mark another major step towards becoming a reputable EPC contractor specializing in renewable energy projects.
In line with our strategic focus on more sustainable energy sources, we are building our expertise in the field with dedicated resources and partnerships, while actively seeking new challenging projects that will contribute to the progressive decarbonization of the power sector of countries and support ambitious goals to cover the majority of their energy demand from renewable sources.
