GASCO's (ADNOC Gas Processing) 3rd NGL train in Ruwais Refinery was designed to process and fractionate 24,400t/d of raw natural gas liquids, transported via a pipeline from OGD-III and AGD-II, to produce ethane, liquefied propane and butane and pentane and heavier hydrocarbons.
We performed the Engineering, Procurement & Construction for the 3.5km two-berth jetty to export ethane, liquefied propane and butane, pentane and heavier hydrocarbons. Since all works were next to the existing operational facility, modular concepts were used for all structural, process and utility systems. The scope also included the marine works for a cooling system with a total combined capacity of more than 2 mill m3/day.
